With writing, design, sawdust,
art, and erasers

I love how erasers smell
And seeing my friends
The papery feel
of books dewey-decimaled
with care on tall shelves
The library is
my own secret hideaway
standing in plain site
Seven hours a day
Of math and reading and Chem
Thirty-five a week
Waking up too early
And lots of homework later
Want to be in bed
Reminding myself
that smell of pink erasers
makes it all worth it.

I do actually like school, although I complain about the homework load. The quizzes are very stress-bringing as well, but I like seeing my friends and being able to learn. I love the library and I'm lucky enough to be a student worker there. Also, I like erasers. Maybe less so than people might get from this piece, but I really do like erasers.
This started off as a journal entry to. Look what it turned into. Haiku-tastic! xD
